The L3 M953 binocular is based upon the military nomenclature AN/PVS-15 used by U.S. Special Forces. This rugged, lightweight binocular features a twin-tube design that provides comparable performance to aviation systems and better depth perception than single-tube systems afford. To accommodate multiple environments, the M953 is designed to operate during vehicle, assault and amphibious operations. This night vision system can be either hand-held or helmet mounted.
